This aerial photo was taken before 1964, when the new high school building was constructed. At center is the current gym. The high school was added running to the right of the gym to the street. The two buildings on the right side of the photo have since been torn down. The building on the left with columns is the Ursuline Convent. This building is still used today, but not as a convent. It has office space for rent and hosts many functions.

Upcoming 2025 SHHS Reunions
(Send us your reunion info and we can share it on our page)

Dear Alumni,

Welcome to the Sacred Heart School Alumni page!    Were you a Sacred Heart Shamrock or the Fighting Irish? All graduates and past students of Sacred Heart School are invited and encouraged to submit your information, photos, past and present, and let us know what you have been up to, possibly be featured on our Alumni Spotlight on Facebook and just stay in touch!

In 1936, the first class of Sacred Heart High School graduated and that tradition continued for 50 years until the high school closed in 1986.  Our elementary school continues to serve students from Preschool through 8th grade and our 8th-grade graduates carry with them the same pride, feeling of family and fundamental values, which have carried on starting in 1936.

Sacred Heart School & Sacred Heart High School alumni are an inspiration to our current students and their families.   The school strives to maintain its ties with our alumni as well as friends of the school.   All Sacred Heart School alumni are always welcome to visit our school, tour the halls, cheer on the Fighting Irish, enjoy Catholic Schools Week, take in the Spring Variety Show or the fabulous Christmas Production, attend Springfest and/or volunteer!  We recognize all alumni, past, present and future, as vital participants in the school’s ongoing mission.

The mission of Sacred Heart School is to provide a Catholic education to all students, regardless of financial means.  We rely on parish contributions, fundraising, special events and the generous donations of alumni, sponsors and supporters of our school to help keep tuition affordable to everyone.

We are currently updating our alumni contact list to ensure Sacred Heart School alumni can stay connected and remain informed about upcoming events and opportunities.  You can complete our Sacred Heart Alumni Update Form and send in photos taking us all down the Sacred Heart High School Memory Lane.  Were you a Shamraleen?  We'd love to see it!  Were you in basketball?  Again, love to see it!  Prom Royalty?  Let us know!  Student Council?  Key Club?  Art Club?  Send your photos our way with some dates and we'll start organizing some albums!  We look forward to hearing from you!  Go Shamrocks!  Go Irish!
